Warth & Klein Grant Thornton and Trinavis are joining forces

Düsseldorf/Berlin, 14th November 2018

  • New services for the client and marketplace
  • Development prospects for employees
  • Significant growth for Warth & Klein Grant Thornton

The medium-sized auditing companies Warth & Klein Grant Thornton and Trinavis are merging and will trade under the name Warth & Klein Grant Thornton from 1st March 2019.

With a turnover of €130 million and 1,200 employees in 10 locations within Germany as well as a global presence through the Grant Thornton International network, the new auditing company brings forward-looking expertise and an SME dynamic to the marketplace.

Heidemarie Wagner, managing partner of Trinavis, will further strengthen the current five-strong executive board led by CEO Joachim Riese.
All existing Trinavis partners will be transferred to Warth & Klein Grant Thornton and take on key roles.

The headquarters of the new company will stay in Düsseldorf. Next to Düsseldorf, the Berlin office of Trinavis will represent the second largest branch and advantageous capital city presence of Warth & Klein Grant Thornton.

“Thanks to the successful merger we are able to provide our clients with many new benefits. We see eye to eye with each other on both a professional and personal level”, enthused Joachim Riese.

“Together we are able to bring high-value expertise and a broad presence in order to support our customers with the challenges of the future”, added Heidemarie Wagner.

New services for the client and marketplace

Alongside the commonality that makes the cooperation meaningful and successful, complementary business areas give rise to new services for the client and marketplace.

“We are strengthening the Warth & Klein Grant Thornton portfolio particularly through industry expertise in real estate and the public sector. Furthermore, we have a strong presence in the capital city of Berlin”, said Heidemarie Wagner.

Improved investment opportunities, in joint ventures, partnerships and future-oriented technologies for example, contribute to the further development of common performance portfolios and the innovative nature of the company.

Great prospects for employees

The variety of service offerings, challenging client environments and the new strengths of Warth & Klein Grant Thornton serve to make the company a key player in the employment market.

Even though both partners are already prominent employers, the now expanded company differentiates itself in attracting the best brains in the sector through excellent working conditions and development prospects as well as flat hierarchies and a friendly environment.
The international Grant Thornton network brings new development opportunities and exciting roles to the German marketplace.

Warth & Klein Grant Thornton is growing

With the merger, Warth & Klein Grant Thornton secures its place among the Top 10 auditing companies in Germany.
With the new structure the company can look forward to improved market prospects and to being more competitive in the traditional disciplines as well as in the growth area of consultancy.
“The combination of our size, quality and flexibility are the drivers for a successful future at Warth & Klein Grant Thornton”, summarised Joachim Riese.
