Dr. Achim Kestler is a certified tax advisor and holds a masters’ degree in law and business administration. After his studies, he earned a PhD with a thesis in tax law. He heads Grant Thornton’s M&A tax practice in Munich. Achim has more than 15 years of experience in providing tax advice on M&A transactions for both, strategic and financial investors.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton in 2019, Achim worked for more than ten years in the M&A tax practice of a medium-sized international auditing firm and a Big 4 company.
